Family Information
The family behind Golden Era has been of interest for a number of
years due to the unique sires in the pedigree and the extreme fat
test. The ROY dam, Eroy was a great young cow that generated world
wide attention. Stephen Van Tassell flushed Eroy as a 2 year old to
Allegro, Shottle and Goldwyn, then sold her at the Snapshots of Starmark
Sale in OH to Nova Holsteins & Friends in WI. Nova & Friends
liked the
Goldwyn cross so well they flushed Eroy to him again, thus resulting
in Golden Era , one of the “Fab Five” as they are called.
All told, Eroy
has 22 daughters scored VG from 7 different sires and more heifers
